Gourmet chocolate with a purpose. This limited edition LECOM Tote box supports the LECOM Student Scholarship Fund which assist students pursuing careers as healthcare professionals. The LECOM Tote is limited in quantity and available only during specific fundraising campaign timeframes. The Tote contains Peanut Butter Wings (8 oz., milk), Chocolate Pizza Slice (6 oz., candy topped), Caramel and Nut Drumstick, 4 chocolate covered graham crackers and 3 chocolate covered cookies. The tote box style varies but has a LECOM logo and message on a front panel label.
Chocolate Pizza Company is Central New York’s largest chocolate maker. For over 30 years, this family-owned small business has been creating gourmet chocolate specialties that are unique, delicious and impressive. Owner Ryan Novak started with the company as a dishwasher when he was 15 years old. At age 21, and a senior at Syracuse University studying entrepreneurship, he jumped at the opportunity to own the business. Since 2010, Ryan has transformed Chocolate Pizza Company from a small-town chocolate shop into an emerging national brand that has been featured on Discovery Channel, CNBC, Hallmark Channel, Food Network and in Forbes, People and Entrepreneur magazines.
